Our Community
We have been part of the local community at Burtley and Wilmaston for almost 70 and 50 years respectively. We help where we can with local issues and initiatives, and have strong links to the parishes in the surrounding areas.
An Active Role
Burtley Farm
At Burtley we take an active role within the local community; writing articles for the parish magazine, opening our doors for farm walks, hosting team building days for local businesses and selling fresh high quality Beef Boxes to local residents and customers.
We also take local students for work experience placements.
A Community Farm
Wilmaston Farm
Herefordshire is very much a rural community and Wilmaston farm enjoys being a part of this. We are very open to engaging with the local community from hosting the local ploughing match, maintaining footpaths and integrating school and college visits we aim to engage with those around us. We endeavour to sell quality produce locally and currently supply to markets in Hay-On-Wye and Hereford, as well as collaborating with neighbours to pool resources.
